COPYRIGHT AT A GLANCE

Original reporting, visible attribution and responsible reuse

CloudPath creates original editorial presentation while identifying and linking to the source material supporting each story.

01 — ORIGINAL WORK

CloudPath presentation

Original articles, page layouts, branding, metadata and editorial presentation may be protected to the extent recognised by applicable law.

02 — ATTRIBUTION

Original sources remain visible

CloudPath articles identify their originating publication or organisation and normally include a direct source link.

03 — RIGHTS REVIEW

Concerns are reviewed

A rights holder may report allegedly unauthorised text, imagery, branding or other protected material for review.

CLOUDPATH CONTENT

Rights in original Website material

Unless otherwise stated, and to the extent protected by applicable law, original CloudPath text, design, page structure, branding, graphics, metadata and editorial presentation are owned by Girra Sweden AB or used under permission or licence.

No ownership is claimed over third-party trademarks, company names, source articles, photographs, research papers, videos or other materials merely because they are mentioned, quoted, linked to or discussed by CloudPath.

The legal protection available for AI-assisted material may depend on applicable law and the nature of the human contribution involved.

MATERIAL MAY INCLUDE

Original news articles and explainers

Editorial headlines and summaries

Website design and page layouts

CloudPath names, logos and branding

Editorial illustrations and graphics

SOURCE MATERIAL

Original publishers retain rights in their work.

CloudPath reports on information appearing in news articles, public announcements, official statements, research, public records and other identifiable sources.

Source attribution and linking do not transfer ownership of the original material to CloudPath and do not imply that the source publisher endorses our wording or presentation.

Third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only where relevant for identification, reporting, commentary or attribution.

OUR ATTRIBUTION PRACTICE

Published articles normally include:

The name of the source publication or organisation

A direct link to the original source page

Original CloudPath wording rather than copied full articles

Clear separation between source reporting and CloudPath presentation

SHARING CLOUDPATH

Direct links are welcome.

Readers may share direct links to publicly available CloudPath articles through websites, messaging services, social media and email.

Limited quotation may be permitted with clear attribution.

Short excerpts may be quoted where permitted by applicable law, provided the quotation is proportionate to its purpose and accompanied by clear attribution and a direct link to the CloudPath page.

Permission is normally required for complete republication, systematic reproduction, commercial syndication, substantial copying or removal of attribution.

Nothing in this policy restricts uses that are expressly permitted by applicable copyright law.

PERMISSION REQUIRED

Uses that normally require written approval

Contact CloudPath before making substantial or commercial use of original Website material.

Full article republication

Copying or republishing an entire CloudPath article on another website, publication, application or database.

Commercial syndication

Selling, licensing or distributing CloudPath content as part of a paid product or commercial information service.

Substantial automated extraction

Systematic scraping, copying or storing of substantial quantities of CloudPath content.

Image reuse

Reusing CloudPath editorial illustrations, graphics or other visual material outside normal link-sharing previews.

Branding and endorsement

Using the CloudPath name, logo or visual identity in a way that implies sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.

Removal of attribution

Removing copyright, credit, source or authorship information from reused material.

AI-ASSISTED MATERIAL

Some text and illustrations are produced with AI assistance.

Artificial intelligence may support article drafting, editing, classification, metadata creation and editorial illustration.

CloudPath does not intentionally instruct image-generation systems to reproduce protected characters, company logos, trademarks or a specific living artist’s identifiable work.

An AI-assisted image is normally a conceptual editorial illustration and should not be interpreted as an authentic photograph or documentary record of the event described.

How We Use AI

REPORT A VISUAL CONCERN

Contact us when an image may:

Reproduce protected material too closely

Contain a recognisable unauthorised trademark

Misrepresent ownership or endorsement

Be confused with documentary evidence

REPORTING AN INFRINGEMENT

Provide enough information for a meaningful review.

A copyright or rights notice should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing CloudPath material and the basis on which you claim authority to act.

Incomplete notices may require additional information before CloudPath can assess or act on the concern.

PLEASE INCLUDE

Your full name and contact information

Identification of the protected work

The exact CloudPath URL involved

An explanation of the alleged infringement

Evidence of ownership or authorisation

A statement that the information supplied is accurate and submitted in good faith

REVIEW PROCESS

What happens after a rights notice is received

CloudPath assesses the identified material, the notice, the available source information and the rights claimed.

1

Receive

We record the notice and identify the relevant CloudPath material.

2

Verify

We review the claimant’s authority and the information supplied.

3

Assess

We consider ownership, licensing, attribution and applicable legal exceptions.

4

Act

We may correct, credit, replace, restrict or remove material where appropriate.

GOOD-FAITH NOTICES

Rights notices should be accurate and specific.

Do not knowingly submit false ownership claims, misleading evidence or notices intended primarily to suppress lawful criticism or reporting.

Submission of a notice does not guarantee removal.

CloudPath may decline to remove material when the notice does not establish a credible rights claim or when use appears permitted by licence, consent or applicable law.

We may request clarification, documentation or proof that the sender is the rights holder or is authorised to act on the rights holder’s behalf.

Nothing in this policy prevents any person from pursuing rights or remedies available under applicable law.
